How much taller is the MSD distribor with the chebby style plug ends than the factory Mopar distributor? Are there any clearance issies since it's right below the wiper motor? There is a local guy selling one for $200 used with mechanical advance. What is a fair price for a used one and a Holley Strip Dominator?

You buy one of those distribtor off eBay for a lot less

They barely fit, there are other hei distributors that fit better.

MSD 8534 pro billet $212 at Summit,,,brand new

sorry thought you were looking for a HEI...was posting off of phone ...letters too small

It's a tight fit. If you have much movement of the engine under hard runs or shifts you might break the cap.

That is probably a little expensive for used.

I put my engine in my 67 Barracuda to mock some other stuff up so I thought I put the MSD 8534 in to check the clearance also. (you got me worried). If my engine moves this far I better get new mounts, IMO. Larry

8534 fits with no issues. Strap the motor down, it won't move much then.
