Time doesn't start until you break the staged beam, green means squat to the time slip other than reaction time. If you have a mess up like the 2 step not working, be cool, reset your head, do it manually and launch the car. You aren't needing to cut a light. Chill and be patient with the process.

Before they put in the 135 mph safety level. I use to get staged, green comes on, bump the car out of the beam, 2 step it about a 1.5 seconds later and run a 10.50-11.00 at 145-150.

Nothing broke, got runs in.... good deal 116 is a 11.50 with 1.60 60', if you can get the hook

Front end is WAY too tight from what little I could see up front

My personal opinion, worth everything you paid for it.....
I'd get some real slicks, on some extra wheels, since you're running a stick. There's a half second available by improving your 60 ft. I realize it's first time out.
And I agree with crackedback. There aint much frontend weight transfer..

Definitely not a drag racing setup. It’s got a factory front sway bar in place, 1.04” T-bars, and stock replacement Monroe shocks. It’s 99% street car so I’m not expecting to set the world on fire with it, just having some fun with my son at the track.
I do have an extra set of 15x10 Centerlines that I plan to mount some slicks on for the future and I’m considering trying @weedburner ’s clutch tamer to help with the launch.

I need to go back and re read the whole thread, it would seem the MPH is pretty soft for the potential of the combo.
Didn’t make enough passes to even think about carb tuning yet, but I suspect it’s a touch lean judging by the plugs. Maybe another couple mph in it with some more jet.
