there first duster in 1970 did have a different paint design ....i know i have a 8 x 10 of it maybe one to upload for you ....here is one .....they hired herb mc candless to drive it and ronnie drove the cuda ....

the duster is an original red car. considering painting it red but the side inserts, top, stripe parts doing that in maroon. would maybe be suttle but maybe cool too???? don't know....

no bondo ....thats a two part marine rust incapsulator (buddy gets it from the navy yard)we put over the new welded in metal temporarily because we did not know how much of the trunk floor and spare tire well was going to be cut out ....its great stuff ...used it on my marine construction bardge ....can go right over rust or any metal then paint ...saved that old rusted scow and kept it going for years ...lol...eastwood and others have stuff like it but its nothing like this **** got to where a paint respirator to use it....

full graphics ...product sponsor decals ...same style wheelie bars ...S@M license plate...same style mags 15x3.5 and 15x10 with skinnys and drag radials ...full race buckets with belts...tach mounted on top of dash ..chrome sw. gauge panel package ...full toggle switch panel wiring ...four speed chrome style shifter handle ...as close to the real thing as i can ...even painted the front rotor hubs met. blue to match the real car ...

well finally cleared it ....did the met. blue base coat sat. night 3am .....cleared it sun. night got done at at 4am ....needed to do it at night to hit the weather window down here....got to say it didn't come out to bad ...has some trash ....must have leaked in from my down draft booth...lol...a couple runs were i went over the same spot twice on the overlap ....hard to see that clear when the garage was a fog ...they wanted that wet wet plus clear sprayed at 50 psi. man what difference from my normal 20 psi from my lvlp gun.....now time for cut and buff... more fun fun fun ...hate to sand the roof came out like glass ...that clear is the real deal ...still looks wet today ...no dye back at all !!!!

seems like forever but its finally cut and buffed....wet sanded with a wood paint stick first and then a block ...800 ..1000...1200.... after that switched to finish d/a with interface pad 1500 then 2000 ....then buffed with the best compound i have ever seen ....mcguire's #105 high cut...these pics are after that ....no polish no wax ...just wiped off the dust ... this stuff is unreal ...it is two pass's your done ....i will still seal and wax it but its ready for decals and lettering...

hi ......she's ready to be lettered but my buddy that did my race cars just lost his wife and shut down his shop till he gets his head back in the game ....he's in a bad way so i think its better to just find someone else at this point ....he had all info and pics i sent him months ago but you know how it goes i said no rush as he was doing it for cost and loved the car .....so ....anyone in our group here do lettering and willing to take it on ? any help would be appreciated.....thanks

also i have all the product decals already ...that was fun.....i also have the gold leaf vinyl to do the car ....just need the black shadow and layout and cut work .....the hard part ...lol

a little update ...thanks skypower for turning me on to the king of wraps.. been working with kira on the lettering ....she has been great ....she had to hand letter the sox & martin and ronnie sox for the door then transfer it to be scanned to the vinyl cutting machine .....man it came out perfect on the proofs she sent me ....the car is almost there ....its up and running !!! ...need to finish the inside ...install the new carpet , the racing buckets and belts ,finish welding up the wheelie bars , install the decals , a good detail and once over everything , then a test drive .....sent a couple pics to diane sox's site ....people are really surprised how close the car looks to the real thing ....i will send more pics when the lettering is installed ....that is going to make the car ...the real thing and my tribute to it ...still have to install my S&M front plate ...lol
