My Hemi Denny Front Suspension Installation

-
Going together very nicely!

First time I've seen the HDK Front suspension system up that close.

Extremely well built and a great upgrade to the car in my opinion. (Que the shitstorm of comments LOL !!)

That is a beautiful notch as well.

Looking forward to your next posts.

Thanks Guys! I will keep you posted.

Cal Tracks for the win. SS springs work to a point but they have always jacked the back up.

Here is part 3 of my HDK installation.

Here's the stance you need in my humble opinion

This car has the perfect rake !!

I'm thinking you're going to need to cut the gusset off of the frame rails that the rubber bumper on the factory lower control arms bumped into. It will be in the way of your new coilovers.

Check with Denny and see. I installed one of HDK's torsion bar eliminator kits on my Duster and had to remove them. Thay may not be the case with the full suspension kit like you have. My hoops and UCA's are the same as yours, but your LCA's are way different. I will be your Amen corner about Denny being such a great guy to deal with.

i hope the op don't mind me asking you a question on your setup . Do you find the car to handle any different or better . any pros or cons . Thanks .

Good video's. I am doing a similar thing. I am stuffing a Gen 3 hemi into my 72 Demon and I am installing the Hemi Denny torsion bar eliminator package. Did you have any problems with your install because you installed the hemi first? Subscribed.

I never got to drive it, just mocked it all up and then ditched the Gen 3 swap to go back to my original plan of a 340 four speed car. I kept the HDK torsion bar eliminator kit in case I ever get a wild hair and put a big block in my Duster. Sorry to be of no help. :(

Thanks Jack. The only thing I should have done was to make sure my brake lines were routed properly on the distribution block (posting video today) and have everything tightened up before the install.

Why did you decide to ditch the Gen3?

It's been 10 or 12 years ago, and when I got to the point of buying a harness to make it work in my car, I was going to have to spend more on a harness than what I had in my 6K mile motor, TTI headers and motor mounts, Moroso oil pan, and 545RFE transmission combined. I just couldn't justify it, so I sold it all and went back to my 340 four speed plan that I had before I stumbled into the 5.7 and went down that path.

I'm not at all against the swaps, and will do a Gen3 swap on my 2004 Dakota if/when the 4.7 takes a dump.
