That's good to see. It will be interesting to see what those heads do for you.

Pics are fuzzy, lol... but the by product of the poor shots is now i see the 2 angle valve job better and what behind PBR leaning toward a 2.05

Even IF there was no lower angle and was radiused under the seat, peak would be better than with the cliff it has now.

You just can't get an all-in-one head .
..and perhaps that's what we always come to when we look at these cylinder heads ,is... "can it do everything"
" oh no it can't" ..."it lacks here ", "it's decent there.." "it could be better if..."

That's what I would like to get corrected that we talked about in the other thread.

The 2nd head is assembled. The valves were the same height on this head.
My Home Inspection of Speedmaster/Pro Com Fully Loaded Heads is Finished.
            Summary:

            • I hope the video and some of my posts throughout the 27 pages to this point helped somebody and maybe somebody in the future
            • Castings were great! Next to nothing for core shift
            • All 16 valves were sealing :)
            • All valve guides were very serviceable
            • I DID remove the burrs under every seat - where the seat met the head.
            • For my own conscious sake, i dulled/removed the jagged edges and extra threads in the spark plug holes.

Now, my next thread of these will hopefully be "Speedmaster vs XXXXX" and we'll have ET slips for results!
            Motor on, Folks!

Just mark both int/exh 8,7,6 etc as well as each chamber.
Int and exh same number as chamber they belong to. Easier and the industry standard. Heads r/l

keeps everything in order and accounted for if any issues arise later...tracks it if its shelved, etc.

I guess I've always done one head A,B,C, etc and on head 1,2,3 etc. I mark one end of the head 1 and the other end 8. Then as I inspect I refer to one head as the "A" head and the other as the "1" head. Good thing I work by myself... lol

Already seen a guy sell an intake for $185 plus shipping... That was an easy fifty bucks if he bought it on the sale. And it sold Fast to..

This is a two-door with a 260.. we were getting out the doors in the rear wing windows to get it ready for paint. We've already got the motor and the bumpers and fenders and the rear tail lights and chrome off of it. When I started helping him he already had the interior out and windows out of the front and back. I took the wiring harness out as well I think last time... I raced my brothers '78 Aspen Super Six wagon with my '63. Because of my clutch, I jumped him out of the hole putting his bumper back by my rear bumper, but that 170 just wouldn't pony up enough to keep him back, and just before the end that super six would go around me.... :BangHead:
