Man, I wish I had a set of scales, or knew somebody that does. I've got about five cars I would love to know some weights on.....

I was just thinking the exact same thing. I've had a longacre set in my ebay basket for months. Just can't pull the trigger. $1500 is a lot of money.

When I started looking at getting a set of scales, they were somewhere around $600, and I couldn't justify spending that. Now even the cheapest set is $1000, and I can't justify spending that, lol.
Edit : and MOPARMAGA, I hope mine is way under 3000 lbs!

There are some roundy round guys here so there are scales around.

I got my Longacres practically new for $250. The best deal I ever got on a tool.

Yowzer! I would do that deal in a heartbeat too. I'd even do $500. (Should have bought a set when the cheap wired ones were $600. Oh well.....)
