Sounds like a solid weekend to me. You know how mine went. Very soggy. I am hoping during my vacation time, I can sort out the wiring to get the Charger fired up and moving for the first time.Quick update from the weekend. Wired up the neutral saftey switch and reverse lights which was really bothering me for some reason (I hate it when lights don’t work) More so the lights than the neutral saftey but I need to pass tech for duct tape drags and on the 46re the three pins are right there so win win I guess. I went to pick a part and cut the nss harness off a truck on Friday so I was ready to splice it in. I had to replace the starter solenoid with one from an automatic to get the ground pin so that happened as well. I finished the wide band wiring and got that working also. My tune up was close but needs some attention, I noticed cruising down the freeway (2100rpm, 75mph) a slight hesitation at light throttle which means I either need larger TSR or a little main jet, or a little of both. There’s chatter about chassis dynoing this thing before duct tape drags so that might happen. Be nice to get wot fuel squared away on the dyno instead of pissing my neighbors off. Yesterday I met a pretty cool kid that was selling a complete B body 8-3/4 for a song so I drove drown to HB and grabbed it and got to see his duster and a cool 70 charger he’s building. He does really nice metal work and I may try to get him to build me a tunnel for the dart when that time comes. Truck also got a bath because I live in the valley of the dirt people and if I don’t wash it once a week it looks like a barn find. That was my weekend. How was yours?

My fingers are crossed.Sounds like a solid weekend to me. You know how mine went. Very soggy. I am hoping during my vacation time, I can sort out the wiring to get the Charger fired up and moving for the first time.
Yea we talked about PVs earlier in the thread. I went to an 8.5, then a 10.5, and now I’m back the 8.5. I originally pulled main jet out of the primary on this carb, 72 to a 69 and added pvcr. This weekend I put 71s back in it. Have to drive it again and see where it’s at. I didn’t get to test after messing with it because I broke an aluminum fuel line and had to make another one. That should have been in my update post but I forgot about it.I had a slight hesitation at light throttle when cruising and went to a higher number power valve, and now the response is instant.
I just want to make sure you know that a power valve has nothing to do with light throttle cruise AFR. the power valve is only adding fuel when the engine vacuum drops below the rating of the valve.I had a slight hesitation at light throttle when cruising and went to a higher number power valve, and now the response is instant.
Nice truck! I installed a 340 and 833 in a 74 years ago, with 275/60/15 all the way around on 15x8 steel wheels.After a few years of wanting and searching for a very specific (and as it turned out hard to find) dodge d100, I found what I was after. My “must haves” I was not willing to negotiate on and I passed on many, many trucks because they were missing one or two important things to me. The list is short, but it was;
1. 72’ to 75’ D100
2.short bed
3.fleet side (sweptline)
4. Original paint or close to it, no full respray.
5. Un-modified
That’s the whole list, I didn’t care about drivetrain or options and I was surprised how hard it was to nail one down. A few months ago I talked myself out of a good truck on marketplace that checked all the boxes because the time wasn’t right and the owner eventually took it down. Thinking it sold, I regretted my decision as soon as it wasn’t available anymore. Surprisingly that same truck came back up for sale a few days ago from the same seller and I wasn’t willing to let it slip away again so I jumped on it. Messaged him on Thursday last week and Saturday it became mine. Once again @Turbo440Dart Chris, Troy, and myself loaded up the trailer and headed out. We did a turn around trip, So Cal to Phoenix and back 735 miles in one day to bring her home.
I don’t have big plans just yet other than some cosmetic changes, I really dislike the black grille, emblems, and trim, so I’ll be stripping that all down and I’ve already thrown all the LED lighting in the trash can and replaced it with original sealed beams/bulbs. She’s a 225 slanter and a 3 speed on the column (which according to my asshole friends has no chance of staying in the truck and they’re probably right) 8-3/8 rear with 3:55s that moves it along ok. Smokes a little on start up and sounds like a solid cam that’s been misadjusted. Manual brakes and steering, radio delete bare bones truck. The suspension and brakes are excellent, it’s quiet and smooth as glass with no rattling or weird noises as you drive. It’s perfect.

I’ll likely not do much to it in the near future except clean it up, strip some paint, and fix some dents. Then lower it a bit and drive it. I’ll get a few more pics over the next few days and post em up if you guys wanna see more.

I have a good friend named Joe. He’s 6’4” and weighs probably 260. Solid muscle. He married a tiny little Asian girl and when they go to the Philippines to visit her family he’s like a rock star. Says people ask for his autograph when he walks down the street even though they have no idea who he is.i mean, unless you're big in japan does it really count?

Here’s another one from in n out.
I could pack some up in dry ice and send it to you.I was going to guess In-N-Out Burger before I saw you said it!
Wish they were up here. But I guess it makes it that much more special when I get to travel to a location where they are located.
