Alrighty guys a couple people have told me in my photoshop thread that I should set up a tip jar so that people could throw me a little money for the work I am doing. Well, I don't want to take your money. I have told many people here that the FABO family doesnt have to give me anything. The questions you guys answer and the kindness you show is enough for me. BUT... for those of you that insist on giving me a little back... I have an idea for you. Don't help me... but help a cause that I unfortunately can't give anything to. Joe, a.k.a. Scamp173124, is building a gasser style scamp that will be auctioned off to benefit the shriner's hospital in his area. We have a hospital here too that was almost closed down and if anything, I want you guys to help him. So, if you appreciate the work I am doing for the people on the forum... go post in Joe's thread ( http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=62990 ) and see how you can help. If you'd like to give back that would be the way to do it. Consider any help you give him and the kids at shriners a "tip" to me... because I'd much rather have him get the help for somthing like that then have me be rewarded for something I'm doing sitting on my butt on the computer.

Thanks guys... lets show what FABO is about yet again.

Oh, and here's the vid on the reasoning behind his build...

Great thought and what a way to bump interest in the shriner's build!!! you Rock!!!

Good to see a face with a name, I am glad I did what I could and I hope all will fallow

Your starting to grow on us...is this photosynhisis?????and don't let pete fool ya.......the man really is ten feet tall and bullitproof when it comes to helping others...thank's Pete!!!!

That is a very commendable and selfless thing you're doing, HemiZach!!!

I went to the site that Leanna has set up, to make a donation using Pay Pal, and when I clicked on the "DONATE" icon, I got this:

"You have requested an outdated version of PayPal. This error often results from the use of bookmarks."

I was stymied.

If she can get that working, or, if there's any other way to activate my Pay Pal account, I'd love to make a donation for the good cause, and for the great job you did turning my old sled into a much better looking vehicle!!!

How about it; is there another way to skin this particular cat???

Let me know....

I guess your best bet would be to PM her. I don't really know how that works since I've never messed with pay pal before... sorry I'm not more of a help.

Bill, I'm sorry you apparently had trouble. Despite the 'outdated version' claim, it seems to work anyway if you click on the "Send Money" tab once the paypal page loads.

I don't understand what the 'bookmarks' reference is either (I got the link code directly from paypal when I set up the account in June and haven't been notified of any updates). I'm admittedly no computer guru so I'm stymied too.

The only trouble with Scamp donations in the past is that there haven't been very many of them.

Zach, the more I get to know you the more I adore ya. Brains, talent, manners, and an all-out classy kid! I wanna give your parents a hug :love7: because they outdid themselves raising you. A true asset to FABO!
