I have a 360/727 set up. I would like to have a stronger than stock tranny, but not bullet proof. Anyone know of a reputable place to buy a rebuilt SB 727 for around $1,500 to $1,800? I have found some in that range, but don't know the rebuilders from jack.

TCI, B&M, Hughes, ATI have decent reputations. I would look for someone who is Mopar specific if possible (like Hughes).

I like that: Mopar or No-Car! That's great...

I will look into Hughes. Thanks

What is your municipality? Surely there is a local good guy who can rebuild you one...........

Cope Racing Transmissions, John does an excellent job on any thing from stone stock to full race, give him a call: 219-374-0100

There are Transmission Shops, but I don't know of any racing transmission shops or high performance tranny rebuild shops around here. Around here it is Russian Roulette to get tranny rebuilding work done. Actually I haven't even found a high quality garage here either. There is probably a decent garage and a decent tranny rebuilder, but I don't know of any.

Thanks, I will give John a call. Shopping around always is best.
