Hello everyone, a while back I bought a mopar power steering box for my 1969 dodge dart off Facebook market place, I'm not sure what mopar it came off since its been so long but I finally got around to installing it into my car. Now I'm having trouble finding a pit man arm that will fit. Currently i have tried part number k7074 and the steering box side of the arm will not fit as it is too small so i believe i have a larger sector shaft box but i still am unable to track down a pit man arm with that same bent shape and large sector shaft size. Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you all in advanced!

I have about 100 old NOS Moog Suspension parts for
A body (Out of Bob Mazzolini's Closed shop))
I have the catalog and I will look Monday if you are interested.
It will be 1/2 the price of Firmfeel. let me know if you are interested.

Herein lies the problem. It is best to get your steering box rebuilt or buy thr correct gear from places like Steer and Gear or Firm Feel. Why do you think you need a different gear?

I don't think a large sector shaft pitman arm was made by the factory for an A-body with the stud pointing up in the 1972 and earlier configuration. The Firm Feel piece is probably the easy way out. Otherwise you could be looking at going to the '73 and later setup which would require a pitman arm, idler arm and center link. You'd likely spend close to $200 on that. The upside being that if you needed to replace your pitman arm in the future, you could use a factory style replacement.

If it’s large sector you will need:

73-76 A-body power steering Pitman (new)
73-76 A-body center link (used)
73-76 A- body idler arm (new)

Look at Rockauto or you local parts store for the new parts. Will be much less expensive than firmfeel.

Looks like $54 total for new moog pitman and idler.

Im pretty sure there is two sizes, a large and small sector shaft and this pitman arm is a small sector shaft and the steering box is a large sector shaft
After all these other responses, is it beginning to DAWN on you yet as to why I suggested measuring to be 100% SURE?
