Need HELP with dipstick 440

[MRL Performance]

I know its not a "A" body but I have gotten no response on this over at the "B" body forum.

I have a friend that can not get a dipstick tube to go into his 440 big block at all in his 1973 Road Runner. He says the motor mount bracket is in the way preventing the tube to even get to the hole in the block. Is this a common problem with this vintage? Does he have the wrong motor mount? Whats the fix?

Does anyone have pics of their setup for reference? Thanks a bunch for the help.

Sorry, I thought I mentioned the car, but I didnt. Its a 1973 Road Runner.

................ya, mike, there a bee otch.....there not much fun.........take the bottom of the 3 bolts out with the other 2 loose,raise the motor, put in tube then lower motor and the mount will do the rest.....kim....

Problem solved. It was the wrong mount. Thanks for all the help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
