No worries Bruce, just telling you what I see when dealing with them. I think you may be, because it's kind of hard to believe there is some unseeable files other than the .cda themselves. As far as I am concerned Nero is one of the absolute best programs for this type of stuff, and I use it almost exclusivly for everything but music. Windows media player does all the conversions for .wav, .mid, mp3 and a ton of others with the K lite codec pack installed, so I use it for music file conversions and burning. I also have programs that converts protected .m4p (Itunes) files to a non protected .mp3, as well as a stereo recorder program that can record ANY sound that can come out of the computer speakers back to the computer in stereo mp3 format. This lets me record and keep literally any sound file I wish (protected or not) and compile my own CD's for the car or house. I get some really cool music this way, some from when I was in school 40 years ago. Cream, Joe Walsh, Moody Blues, CCR, Steppenwolf, Pink Floyd, Savoy Brown, and all the old good rock songs. (my oppinion obviously)Am I thinking two different things here???
OH, same with video.
