New pulleys for PS added, new OER Radiator, 1700 Flow Cooler WP, 7 blade clutch fan, shroud, but blades are hitting radiator, no room at all. Water pump issue or maybe pulley issue? Pulley alignment seems ok?

Noticed 1700 aluminum Flow Cooler WP has longer fan hub working height listed than cast iron 1701, should I have gotten 1701 maybe? Different clutch fan? Thanks in advance for any input.

Your clutch does not look like the Hayden 2947 you need for clearance.

Thanks guys, I will check out that Hayden clutch

Not sure of part number on there now, maybe when I get it off I can see better

Happy Friday!

Are the new Pullies CVF? I added them recently and noted the water pump pully is thicker than stock by about 1/8" or a bit more. This will push your fan forward.

Shorter clutch as mentioned is the only fix, or go fixed fan with proper spacer.

what clutch is on the fan? i'm running the short hayden one on our dart.. hard to get my old fingers in to get the bolts started but it fits... :) https://www.haydenauto.com/en/products/fan-clutches/fan-clutch-types/low-profile-fan-clutch

i'm also running the flowkooler 1700 with no issues.. 18"fan too..

that alumn pulley is quite a bit thicker them my steel one too i'll bet...

You were right about the pulley, thicker compared to stock, I should have known better.

Still will go with the Hayden clutch as well, did you use the stock bolts?

Looks like next I need to read up on the reducer bushing too.

Again, thank you for the help! Little by little .........

i think i have stock (reproduction) bolts. i tried studs first and no way they were working. bolts are a pain in the *** to get in but they go. gotta get them all slightly started then bring them all in kinda together.
