This car is going to be street driven, this is my sons first car.He is 15 yrs old and will be getting his license next month. We are building the car with a good foundation in case he gets the drag racing bug. Here are some pictures of the rear tires and rims we are going to use.

We have been making some slow progress on the car.We replaced one floorpan got the down bars bent and some xbars mocked up.We cut out the firewall where the windsheild wiper motor indent,to help smooth the firewall.Cut the donor dash into six peices to fit the down bars.Decided to lower the car 2" all around, and cut inner fender out to make snout bars for coil over front.Going to try and post more often but as you can see we are very slow and don't wan't to bore with non essentials.

Wonderful project and looks like a very high quality build.

Have you decided on a color?

I'm 13 and my dad and I have a 1972 Dart 383 project, trying to convince him to tub it and maybe looking for another car for me, good luck on the build 67-69 Darts are my favorite body style.

Still thinking on color was going to be orange then ..........You know how it goes .Working with my son on this project has been fun, lots of laughs and some drama lol.He is a great kid with a good head on his shoulder. We do alot of brainstorming to come up with ideas we wan't the car to end up a little different than others so it can stand out in the crowd. As we all know this is a very expensive hobby and add tubbing a car in the mix =$$$$.The rear end in the car is only for mock-up to see the stance,We have a dana 4:10 trac-lok that will be going in to replace. We are starting on the front suspension now it will have 2"magnum force dropped spindles, tubular upper a arms and ??????? We want it low thanks for the great comments.

For 48 James Sorry it's not a Mopar, I'm truly a Mopar guy but, also a hotrodder would have love to been stuck in the 50's here is a picture of my bucket with my bestfriends Ted 57 Plymouth...

King. One of my favorite ol` MoPar body styles, the Fury. Long before the movie "Christine". When I was about 6 or 7, (40+ years ago) my mom's best friend had a red 58, whit top, red gut. I'll always remember her blowing the doors of my mom's 57 Belair. Then, I guess to try to get even, my mom bought a left over 67 Charger, 440, automatic car. Yes a 440 not a 361. White with a white gut. I remember sitting in the passenger seat w/mom behind the wheel tooling along on the NY State thruway, I looked over at the speedo and it was 140 ish. Mom was for sure a "lead foot" and although she's settled down "a bit" she still is. Only thing is over the past 30 years or so she took a liking to the Town Cars. Like driving a friggin couch...
