Hello everyone, Ive been reading up on this board for a while but just now registered. Lots of good info here and im glad to be a part of the board. I have been working on a big block '71 duster for about 5 years now, and I think it will be on the road some time around christmas.
heres my setup:
-440 bored .40 over, 500" stroker, 4.15 Sony Briant billit crank, oliver rods, diamond pistons(11-1 compression).
-Edelbrock heads and M1 single plane currently being ported in trade for my old neon
-Pro parts headers just came in the mail today
-Will be using a demon 850 carb...I think
-cam is undecided as of now
-727 with fresh rebuild(kevlar clutches) soon to be recieving a manual valve body. Converter not chosen yet and rear end is a rebuilt 8 3/4 3.91.
Im hoping this setup will put me in the mid elevens...or quicker. Been saving up and slowly collecting parts so im excited to get the car going. Also painting the car soon, panther pink
