I think there is a number u can put into ur cell phone to stop nuisance calls and telemarketers. Does anyone have it? How many use it? Does it work good. I’m up to about 20 calls a day. This needs to stop!!! Kim
You're in Canada. You will have to get online and find out.I think there is a number u can put into ur cell phone to stop nuisance calls and telemarketers. Does anyone have it? How many use it? Does it work good. I’m up to about 20 calls a day. This needs to stop!!! Kim
Same here. I am usually very rude. The Do Not Call list doesn't seem to slow down the duct cleaning arseholes. I am rude to them, too.Canada's National Do Not Call List
That's for telelmarketers.
Scammers wont pay attention to it lol.
We get 4-5 calls at home a day from scammers.
Yes. And here's government reporting center for those.Have you guys encountered the "phishing" calls where a computer can literally dial someone from YOUR number (or at least it looks like your number on caller ID)
so you get a scammer/telemarketer call, from a familiar area code #, and you answer it, BUT.... that # is actually a local persons #.
my grandmother got a call from another church going old lady that lives up the street (according to caller id) ...so she answered. came up on ID and everything. But it was a scammer.
Yes, I had my number calling me once. Then other calls from our own town. Pisses me off. KimHave you guys encountered the "phishing" calls where a computer can literally dial someone from YOUR number (or at least it looks like your number on caller ID)

Do not call list doesn't work. AT ALL.
Agree. It gets rid of at least 50% of the crap calls, for free, on my landline. It rings only once.Go to nomorobo.com and sign up your landline for free (if you have call forwarding). They charge for this service on cell phones.
There are only a certain few that I'll let clean my ducts and tell them thatSame here. I am usually very rude. The Do Not Call list doesn't seem to slow down the duct cleaning arseholes. I am rude to them, too.
I keep my land line for a number to give ALL businesses including doctors etc and when dealing with anything on the internet. At a minimum, I get 5 junk calls a day on it while my cell phone stays nearly free of them. Yeah, it's costing me but imo, it's worth it. A couple of years ago a girl friend listed my cell number when she entered my name to win a freakin Ford pickup. Told her in no certain words that she's not to ever give out my cell # for ANY reason!I get 3 to 5 a day, Sundays included and beginning at 6AM even.
I let the answering machine take all calls.
The only reason I even have a land line is Cuz the internet comes in on it.
