I'm leaving shortly to go see the NYC Auto Show in Mahattan. I have a fully charged camera and I'm with the "Right" bunch of the guys... this should be fun. 8)

Yeah...this is beautiful! This is the `08 SRT-8 version in Silver.

Here's the `09 Challenger in Tor-Red. This was a non-SRT-8 version, hinting at "affordable" Challengers in the future.

Speaking of `09's in future colors, how about THIS one? Sure looks good in blue to me!

Believe it or not, this Chrysler 300 open limo styling excersize was being touted as being built for the "Hip-Hop" lifestyle. I almost made the model giving the speach gag when I asked if it was bullet-proof....

If those "other guys" ever get their **** together, they *might* have a winner too on their hands....

Smart Car had a HUGE crowd all day... and I'm taking my wife to test drive one. She's in love with these things and wants to check it out. When she does her weekend errands parking is an absolute ***** in our neighborhood.

She wants the Cabrio version, which lists for $17K.

Plenty of room inside! While I would NEVER use this thing for any sort of long-distance highway travel, for banging around town it's a practical idea.

Pontiac Solstice Coupe: Poor-mans Porsche Cayman coupe, but sexy non the less. It's a Targa top.

Potential new El Camino-style pick-up for the Pontiac guys....

The new Nissan GT-R. I can't wait to see these things in my shop. I'm the only guy in my dealership qualified to go to class for this car. I guess I should ask for the raise NOW....

All in all, it was a fun day out. I'm going to have a second post featuring all the OTHER sexy, curvey stuff that was in attendance. 8)

Yeah, there was alot to look at yesterday. Thank Gawd my buddy Jason has a set of stones he needs a wheel barrow for! I would NEVER brazenly take these pictures....

Yeah, that's Manhattan for you: it's like Disney on crack. One minute your going "WOW! Look at THAT!" and the next your saying, "Wow... look at that"

A cheap(er) Challenger?!?!?!? That would be great. Maybe, just maybe they'll remember there yesteryear homerun with the Roadrunner. Cheap and quick.
While not being heavy on the equipment list, though it could be, a bare bones runner could be had cheaply.
Why can't I do the same now.
OH wiat, list of min. equipment and huge "Convenice packages" with crap I don't need/want.

I agree with you Rob, let's hope they make it accessible to everyone. There's a lot of V-6 Mustangs being driven by non-enthusiasts, and you can bet on GM marketing the new Camaro to every concievable niche the market can, or even can't, stand.

The blue one was particularly stunning. Very understated and classy...

BTW: MY PREDICTION? Junkyard 5.7 Hemi's are going to get REAL popular once the new Challenger hits the streets in the stripper, el-cheapo base models. Stock up now....
