Ohiomopar where's my parts??? Or tracking #

I have been waiting for my 340 exhaust manifolds or a tracking # for more than 2 months now. He was "kind" enough to take the payment on 2 installments(final installment was July 19). Apparently he is going thru a divorce, so he had to move. Tons of excuses as to why the parts werent shipped(vehicle trouble, box got wet, counselling for the divorce etc)then finally Sept 9th said they were shipped. But he left the tracking # at the old house. Now I know its only been 2 weeks since he shipped, but a tracking # would ease my mind a bit. That is why I started posting tracking #'s on the threads for my parts I sell.
He posts on moparts as well.

Yeah communication has been aces thru my hotmail, he always replies, but a ton of excuses. I chkd mapquest and it really isnt much out of the way, so I will be doing a "drive-by" when I head out......mornin' beautiful!!LOL

Thanks Leanna, as I mentioned, he said they shipped, but no tracking # yet, so we will wait and see. I definitely would not buy parts from him unless you see them in person and are picking them up!!

I will add that I am not looking for free parts, just want them shipped in a timely manner!!! Believe me this has tested my patience, and I have 3 teenage boys so patience I have, but this is ridiculous.

I recently had a butt dragger ship a pair of heads I won on Epay. I was getting ready to jump in hi sh.t, then he told me he was in the military and he was putting in some long days. Sellers should tell buyers of this kind of stuff. Just to add some misery, UPS delivered 1 of them last Friday, guy left it in the back of my truck but no note saying so. The other one just showed up 10 minutes ago.....

Thanks, as I said in the 1st post, he has communicated awesome!! Always replies to my emails, but only 1 post in fabo to sell stuff, and the same with moparts...so that got my back up, plus to ease my worries, just shoot me a tracking #. Believe me I know how the parts shipping goes, I still have a fabo member that has been patient with me, as it has been 3 weeks since I sent parts. But the post office wont do anything until it has been 4 weeks. So we play the waiting game. this is why in my threads I will always post when it shipped. Darrin has replied to me with explanations, but its as simple as a tracking #. I know he is going thru some $hit right now, and I have been more than patient (2 months).

I visit my Girlfriends parents frequently at that zip code. I can stop by and see what's up if you don't receive your parts/money. I'm sure he's a good guy. But If I can get them shipped quick for you, I'd like to.

Thanks rustydusty, lets give it a couple more days. If he shoots me a tracking number I will feel much better and I am hoping he can do that in a couple of days. I appreciate the offer thanks!! At least someone has stepped up to say they know Darrin, so that makes me feel better. Believe me I didnt want to do it, but with only 1 post here and on moparts only to sell, this has me kinda worried. Cross your fingers for me that this all works out!!

I have a file for receipts of every single part I have shipped. Now some receipts are not "traceable" thru canada post, as some have gone "small parcel". Which when you ship the cheapest way is not traceable, but still comes with $100 insurance. Watch the manifolds will show up Thursday and I will feel like a $hithead for posting his name and everything on here. I guess I was hoping that someone that knew Darrin would chime in and vouch for him. It sounds like a few people do, so that makes me feel a bit better. Like I said, I am not looking for free parts as he said he will refund my $$$. At least put me at ease and give me a tracking #

I am not having much luck with ebagers lately, 1 expensive MSD box supposedly lost by FedX (he bought the shipping tag but it never made it out or dropped off at there depot).

Now another guy gives me this excuse on an alternator

"ok i did ship this item. Then i found out that the post office didnt send it. They said that i had to print the shipping label the same day that i ship. I have been shipping for 20 years and i have never heard of this. So i reprinted have to fight to get them to reprint them. It should go out tomorrow. I am sorry for the problems." ??????? sounds like BS to me......

I'm about ready to give up buying from people and just spend the $$$$ at a legit company.

Sounds like he burned you, if he won't give you a tracking number then he did not ship. It only takes 4 days cross country via UPS and 3 days Priority Mail. I would not have waited more than a week if it were me.
