One to two barrel conversion

I have a 73 dart slant six that im looking to improve performance. I picked up a 2 barrel intake manifold and looking for suggestions for a carb and do I need to change the linkage for the conversion and looking for suggestions on that as well. Thanks!

I would use the factory Carter BBD two barrel carburetor and yes, of course you'll need to change the linkage. I would get everything from Bouchillon, rather than pay ridiculous prices for 50 year old used parts people think are worth gold.
