Nice find and wow that car is solid! There usually rusted Especially in the front floor boards but dam that's clean!! Congrats and if you need parts there's a few AMC suppliers in the states that you can get parts from: Americanpartsdepot, In Ohio, Blasers in Wisconsin, Galvins AMC rambler parts in Lodi California and KennedyAmerican in Ohio also!

This is an incredibly clean car, it also came with a ton of paperwork and manuals.

 
Looks like fun! I love it when someone picks up an old car that other people pass over and just has fun with it.
 
Changed out the brake light switch which is just a pressure switch mounted under the master cylinder so now the brake and signal lights work, and checked the brakes. They have about 1/2 life left, so Carmen and I drove down to the beach today. It runs and drives great, already got a couple thumbs up. I'm excited to drive this more often.
 
I changed out the wheels yesterday since the original tires were full of bulges and a bit nerve wracking. I was having trouble finding a tire shop that stocked a 205/75/14 so I threw on a set of Magnum 500's I had, 235/60/14s on the front and 245/60/14s out back. The wheels definitely gave it a smoother ride and brought up the look of the car in my opinion.

Blaser's is awesome to deal with, too. Great folks with a lot of knowledge on AMC's.
