so I'm at the track yesterday and as I'm pulling up getting ready to stage and a bystanders observing my motor runs around and tells me that the little motor that runs my water pump is not moving! He gave it a little push with his finger and off it went#-o I red lighted on the first round of eliminations anyways and ran the car right up onto the trailer. now as I look for a water pump and a real electric one this time instead of this phony piece of crap Milodon thing that lasted not too long I was wondering of course budget wise as always if anybody has tried the ProForm electric water pump? which seems to be half the price of the expensive brands. I bought the ProForm rocker arms and couldn't get them back to summit fast enough! I know in this world most of the time you get what you pay for but man my budget cannot afford $400 electric water pump. I really don't want to put the pulley on. Any first hand experience would be appreciated .

I have been running the Proform electric water pump almost 4 years on the D50 and on the street also. I have not had any problems so far. I also ran the the Moroso electric motor pump on my Demon with a lot of street miles for 6 years and it still works.

Those POS Mr. Gasket things last a while. Mine did for years...lol. The others are the same basic kits from various manufacturers. Sounds stupid but you do have a relay and decent wiring feeding that motor - right?

I am having problems with their electronic ignition conversion since installing it. Haven't found the problem yet.The distributor may be suspect.

Well I can say the wire feeding it is bigger than the one it comes with ?

ya have to oil the bearings every now and then.

Bob How do you do that?
I have the Moroso electric pump. I have had it for many a years and its starting to get a little noisy.
Did you drill a small hole in it or something to lube it?
