Purchase of wheels and tires from another member gone bad

-
I hate seeing people get ripped off for one reason or another on this site. The fact that he did not continue updating via pm or email is a big red flag. Every bad transaction makes it harder for the good guys to do business here. I really think we need a reference list to "bad sellers"

Yes i have done my research on various generations of youngsters after 32 years in youth sports and pitiful would be the current tween to early 20's age bracket to clarify. This is just my stupid opinion though older eyes and am vey sorry if anyone is offended except for the intended A$$Clown and i shouldn't have targeted a whole group.Sorry again young guns. It took me years to get over being called a Freak in the 70's.( Damn the pot was good back then.) Hope this saga ends up OK.

I know you were not intentionally calling all of us young guns (im 23) a bunch of losers.......and if you did mean it....well I guess thats what happens to old folks when there minds go loopy =P~... HAHAHA J/K buddy, no offense taken here, keep on keepin on!

My foreman at my old job just didn't like young people. He told me and the guys at work some of the things he would do to the grand kids to "straighten them out". I doubt seriously that the grand kids would have anything to do with him. He was in his early 60s when he was still at work. He retired then passed away just a short time after. He was a miserable guy..... I hope I never get like that.

Calling out young guns makes us look like old farts jealous of youth. Oh **** I resemble that remark lol.

.............This kind of thing is happening more and more often.......we need to do something about it b4 it gets way out of hand..........there needs 2b a punishment 4 these crimes...............kim..........

Theres no excuse for it.. I've lost money on parts before, I've lost money on shipping, no matter what---- My buyer got their part... I don't know the solution, all I know is if I get a bad vibe from a person, I wont deal with em'....

As stated before, csx452 offered to drive up and collect the wheels. Instead, SW400 says that shipping was more than he thought. Why didnt he let csx452 know that? Because its not the truth. If he were an honest person, he would have done whatever it took to make it right immediately, even if he had to offer to meet halfway to deliver the wheels, or accept the offer to have csx452 come pick them up. He didnt find a solution because he didnt want to.

He says he will ship the wheels out. Make him provide a valid tracking number. I think its just more BS to buy him time. From what he has posted about making people mad, he is just a thoughtless punk that only cares about himself, so I doubt if he can be trusted to do the right thing. Probably has a nice little scam going where every time he needs a few bucks, he sells his wheels, collects the money, but never delivers. I hope he proves me wrong, but we'll see.

Wait a week, but in the meantime, be getting all of your paperwork, emails, canceled check, etc, in order to take to the authorities. I would go talk to your district magistrate and ask him how to handle the situation. I would also go to the State Police and discuss it with them. They may offer to make a courtesy call to the local police and ask them to pay SW400 a visit.

Past experience makes me not waste time on stories and /or excuses. 95% of situational private sales that have gone bad can be solved real quick once you show the offending party you will hunt them down, legally of course, to make your claim. Surprising how a "without prejudice" letter on it's own will solve the problem a lot of times.
I was ripped off many years ago and it took me 6 months to find the guy, but I found him and I collected! There is no longer an aspect of hard time stories in my book! I don't care! No I don't want your terms for payment! I want my (fill in the blank)
Time for people to grow bigger balls. Step up and put your weight behind your claim!
My mother says I am cold? I wonder why?

You're not cold, just realistic. An honest person will do whatever possible to make it right. If he was being truthful, he would have at least kept up communication, not ignored Emails as he has. BTW, has anyone noticed that he hasn't even attempted to defend himself on this thread. Personally I don't think he even cares & is just stalling for time, hoping the problem just blows away. I hope I'm wrong but I think the only way to get any satisfaction is by sending in the police.

It is dissapointing to see that the guy had not been sign onto fabo since july and he just recently signed on august 8th (probably because he was curious about whatever one has said since it had been brought to his attention that people knew the deal went sour.

He obviously has access to the internet, he could atleast be kind enough to keep in touch with CSX ....not to mention he could chime in on this thread.

people like this guy really P!$$ me off, hope this guy comes through....but it looks like the best odds will be to bring the law into it....then when he is faced with legal action vs. going to a concert maybe he will make the right choice.

rather shipping was more than expected or not....thats BS I have sold things before and quoted the shipping cheap and then found shipping was more expensive.....but I just dipped into the profit from selling the actual item to cover the costs......simple as that....its an obligation.

and if he didnt want to hold up to that obligation than he should have simply refunded the money.....all there is to it!!!!

UGHHHHH!:angry7:

I also see he put his facebook on full private now so no one can see all the fantastic new things/ experience's he is paying for out of CSX's pocket.

total BS!

IF YOU READ THIS>>>>MAN UP AND SHIP WHEELS OR PAY THE MAN OR SUFFER FULL BACK LASH FOR YOUR ACTIONS!

I say the heck with waiting.... this guy needs to be taken care of immediately! If shipping cost more than he thought well then he should send the money back period.... but that would be hard to do when you don't have it anymore.

I agree, just start legal action now. He's already had much more of a chance to reconcile than I would have given him.

I want to thank everyone who has responded with their concerns and their anger about what happened. I really do appreciate it. I also want to thank those who have offered wheels and tires to me. That's going above and beyond. The people on this site are awesome.
Now I also want to stress that those who have, shall we say, borderline threatened Jason need to stop. He knows he is in trouble. We need to give him a chance now to make good on my deal with him. He said he will. If he doesn't, I will take legal action. I want to keep this above board. I'm just as pissed as the rest of you, but I will bring charges against him if he doesn't make good on our deal. I want to do everything by the book. I'd hate to see anyone else get in trouble.
Thanks again for your support. I really do appreciate it. You guys are awesome.

Why can't the guy just send back the money??? Or at least allow him to come pick them up??? Either he spent the money partying OR perhaps he sold the wheels to someone else (maybe there were never was an intention of getting rid of the wheels). Either way- something stinks. But I am willing to see if he drops his purse and grows a pair.

He has clearly illustrated already, that he has no conscious. The lack of communication, is a clear indicator to me.

It would be hell going through life, looking over your shoulder, hoping someone doesn't have a baseball bat in the cocked position, right behind you.

You can run into people at the most unsuspecting times.

It has been said that people get their just reward, three fold.

I've been into parts tradein, buying and selling since I was 14, I'm 43 now.. I take parts dealing SERIOUS on both ends as most of y'all do.. I'd be knockin' on the guys door at 3 in the mornin'... Theres a moral and princable line here thats not to be crossed, this guy has crossed that line....

You've given him way too much of a chance. Authorities should have been involved ages ago, I believe you've been way too kind and taken advantage of. Go to the police/fbi/whomever you need to and have them throw the book at him. I hope you get your wheels, and/or money back, and get to see his life ruined by a criminal record.

My nephew is a Sgt. in the Scranton Police Dept. and a member of their SWAT team. I already discussed this matter with him. I also have 2 friends who are Pa. State Policemen, and my daughter's friend dates another Pa. State Policeman. I used to work with his brother, so I know him too. I also know his Dad who is a retired Pa. State Policeman. My lawyer is a close friend of my son in law and a huge car enthusiast to boot. He actually served on the Formula One Board for years. If legal action is necessary, I think I have it covered. LOL!

I think a 5:30am visit by the local SWAT team might get his attention lol.. Make for a great Youtbe moment for sure.

If this guy asked for a mailed payment and gave the address to send it to, then kept the money and defrauded the guy, I believe that's mail fraud, isn't it?.....That's a Federal offense. :angry7:
