Half way through our drag racing season, and I’d like to share an update. Our first three races got rained on, so that was a bummer. I have managed to put the Duster in the winners circle at four of the other seven races since then, including this last Sunday where my daughter and I both won. Her in Jr. Street, and myself in Pro. Right now I’m eight rounds ahead of second place in the points with three points races left. Hopefully I can hold on to that significant lead to secure another Pro championship.

Good consistency with car, smart racer , good driver and a good eye ! Love it ! Keep up the good racing !
Speaking of consistency, the first race of the season we were able to do was a clinic in it. My first 6 passes had a 60’ time of 1.505. Every pass between the two days was 7.00 and 7.04. Had I not red-lit by .003 in the third final round it would have been three wins in a row.

It’s happens brother ! I want to win no matter what , but I would rather red light than sleep at the tree…….. OMG !! Great job ! I enjoy racing, watching a good bracket driver or index driver ! You foot brake , or box ?
 
I’d rather sleep, because you can’t win with red and the other guy can have a worse package.

great job this year, good the see all the family with you.

there is a local guy And he red lights 33% of the races, says you’ve got to have a good light or you will get beat. He doesn’t realize that he is giving away all these races. Is it worth the time and gas money to race this way?

Hey man ,way to go representing Mopar at the dragstrip. I hope you keep your lead and get it done.ill be pulling for you and looking for the results.

Is that a small block in the Duster?( small block guys wanna know...:))
410 Scat stroker, about 12.8:1. Ported Eddy heads, Hughes solid cam, 1.5 rollers, crappy 1 5/8 headers that are stealing some power, Ron’s toilet fuel injection on alcohol. We race at 5300’ with a DA between 7-8000. At sea level it should be 6.70s.

That's right about what my 416 runs at sea level 6.60/ 6.70 with a carb.you may be alittle better with the alcohol at sea level.
 
Couple videos on my YT from the last race of the season 9/24. This was the 1/4 final where I had a trip zip and ran .008 off. He was .021 total. Wound up winning the day.
