See post 26. Any chance of current day pics? Did it settle? Thanks
I sold the car a couple of years ago, But I will have to look on my flash drive for some pics.
All I did to even out the right side being so high was to jack the torsion bar on the driver's side about an inch to compensate.
Yes, it did settle in the back after a couple of years about an inch or 2 and stayed there.
But, to take advantage of the springs as they were designed, you would leave the right side up and use an adjustable pinion snubber so your launches would be straight.
IMHO, if you use the same springs on both sides, they will certainly lift the car up, but won't do much for traction as the offset springs do as designed.
The one thing to remember though, if you aren't trying to get the most out of your car on the strip, 2 002 springs on the car will work just fine and the car will be level and not too high as using 2 003 springs.
One last thing to consider is that a lot of people consider Super Stock spring as being too ''harsh'' on the street and that is not my experience.
The car was stiff for sure, and cornering was terrible, but that didn't matter to me as I was looking for the launch characteristics
and looks which was good.
The car would lift on the back end and plant the tires when I dropped the clutch at 3 grand and lift the front end every time!
