Red Headed Stepchild-75 Swinger LSX Swap

-
Well I was looking for a trailer for a while seeing as I'll be hitting alot more track events from here on out. Just as I was about to spend the money on a new open 18 footer my friend messaged me about a 22x8.5 enclosed that a family friend recently put up for sale and hadnt listed anywhere else yet.

So i pulled the trigger and got a new to me enclosed trailer for the dart. For the same money I was going to spend on an open.

The Maserati doesnt come with obviously. But the heat/ac/led lights and cabinets do.

nice, got to love a good deal

i havent spend much time in your neck of the woods, do you get a lot of snow?
(i ask because of the flat roof, here in michigan, that could pose a problem with the weight of snow on it)

Nice good score! I have a similar enclosed with AC and its a game changer. Plus it's nice to keep your car out of the elements

Yes it is considering I have my wife and family when we go to the track. Also room for a pit 4 wheeler.

Not down In Virginia we dont. Rare occasion down here, and if it does its maybe 2 or 3 inches.

Here are some better pictures of the trailer now that I got her home and cleaned up for the most part. I'll take care of the floor soon before I epoxy over it.

Roll cage tubing came in today as well, and Theo got the front torque boxes in and started clearing away that awesome Illinois undercoating from the rear wells.

Dont let the virus keep you down. I'm not.

Picked my hood back up from paint today and love the look. Color looks on point as well. Glad I went with red. Cant wait to get it on the car.

That came out awesome. Where did you get the hood from? Do you know if they have different options for the scoops?
Thank you. I got the hood from glasstek. It's a one off hood, as theyve never made it foe a 73-76. So I essentially had to buy the scoop, the hood, and have glasstek put them together for me. I spoke with their team and let them know where I needed the high point and he put it dead on the money. Couldnt be happier with it.

No kidding, I just looked them up and they are only 20 minutes from my house. LOL small world. That’s good to hear. I will be reaching out to them late spring to have them put something together for my car

Chloe is the lady to set it up with and Tory would be the man to talk to about getting it setup exactly how u want it.

Old section. Of the floor out and nee floor pan in.

The rear trunk section is out as well so he can start the minitubs. Flat piece will be going back in for the fuel cell.

Also the yukon gear c clip eliminators and chromoly axles showed up. Cant wait longer this thing back complete.

Looking good. I like how you removed the spare tire well. It will be a much cleaner look from the rear for everyone that can’t keep up!
