Redrill or buy new?

I used cut down truck axles with green bearings, big car brakes and backing plates. 490 hp 360 with dot slicks and no problems yet!!

I have both Moser and Strange axels in my cars,both have the green bearings with the snap rings.You remove the snap rings to slide your backing plates on,then apply the snap rings,install the axels and bolt them all up and yor good to go.Good luck,being save is your best bet.Good luck.

Well, I called and ordered a set today, with bearings and studs installed. $215, + $85 shipping, + whatever Customs takes from me. I had to call and order, instead of online, because their shipping methods are showing up as not available. I'll post pics when I get them.

That'd be great if you post some pics and let us know the quality. I'm going to eventually get a set as soon as I get some other stuff out of the way.

cool. glad ya got new ones. did you get the bearings with the snap rings? I converted my b-body axle to green bearings with snap rings...

I did purchase bearings with snap rings, as well as studs installed. I maybe should have just gotten the studs in stalled myself, but the guy didn't even ask what size studs. But for some reason I think they will be 3" studs, from something in the original advertisement I read.
