I am getting my 66 dart gt aligned tomorrow morning...does anyone know what the correct frt ride height is supposed to be, I know the torsion bars are not adjusted correctly as one side is lower... thanks, John

It's in the manual, but the way Chrysler measure ride height is kind of a pain. It is the difference between the floor and LCA under the torsion bar and the LCA by the lower ball joint, or something like that. I usually measure about one inch between the LCA bumper and the frame. Then I measure from the frame to the steel part of the LCA and make both sides equal. This will set the ride height a little lower than the factory spec, but you don't want to use factory specs with radial tires anyway. You want the maximum amount of caster you can get.

I find a stance I like then measure from the wheel lips to the ground and adjust till the fronts match with driver weight in the car, then do the alighnment....hope thats helpful

I'm with Wags. The Service Manual is sketchy at best..tmm
