Scat 4” cast crank?

-
Maybe, this is running magnum heads from what I can tell, the closed chamber and quench will help a lot.

I'm running close to 200psi on 93 pump gas without any signs of detonation, on a similar setup. Zero decked at 5.573, -13cc, 65cc heads. Running an 0.40 cosmetic.
Where are yall comin up with these stupid short deck heights?

Pretty obviously a typo, although it's pretty funny that we both fat fingered 5 in place of 9.

Other option is the deck is somewhere is now somewhere half way down the bore.

We could always run diesel !

You can not figure your compression ratio off of a deck height listed in manuals. It must be MEASURED, or the crank/rod/piston put into the block and measured that way. Otherwise, your guessing

Played pond hockey this morning, worked a few hours then came home and stripped the engine down . Just in time to watch USA vs Canada .

Personally 93 octane is a pain to find here.

I'd want to be in the 9.5:1 to 9.8:1 range SCR.

There is nothing wrong with a cast scat crank for what your doing and much more .
I agree. I ran a cast Scat at 565HP, pounded the snot out of it, and the dude who bought that shortblock is still running it years later. I went forged steel cause I was heading for 600.
Never heard of a Scat crank breaking although I'm sure it's happened. Eagle on the other hand are trash. Period.
