Imbedded Adobe Flash player missing some of the code is what it looks like.

Right click in that supposedly blank spot.

I had one on a 318. Excellent intake.

I had one on a 360 with 318 heads, it was quick. I found one a few months ago at a swap meet in some chevy guys stash.

Edelbrock LD4B is one of the best dual plane intakes for the small port 273/318 heads from 66-pre magnum.

Strong off the line and mid range.

It ran better than the Edelbrock performer on our stock 318 with dual exhaust only.

Great street intake...

I just bought one. Hope to get it next week.

How would it be on a mild 360? I picked one up for 50 bucks and I thought it would be better than the stocker for now.

I have one on my old farm truck, one of hell of an intake on a street ride.

Well, it has 273/318 sized ports, so a bit small for large-port 360 heads, if you're looking for max flow, but it will work just fine for street driving. LD340 has the larger ports.

I understand the LD4Bs are great for 273s/318s if you can find a good one, but if you're going to run a 360, you might want to look for an Edlebrock Performer intake. My understanding is that the port match between a performer and 360 is a little better than with the LD4B. Compare the port dimensions on these applications to see the differences.

I would run an LD4B all day long over a performer on any sb no matter what port size. It will still run better than the performer....

Me too, I had one. Back in the late 70s,on a 340. Oh crap, I think it was an LD340. Sold it to my wife's cousin, along with a set of 4.10s that I installed for him, in a 71 Demon318; all black. That combo went pretty good.

Haven't run an LD4B but on a very mild detuned 340 with 915s the stock intake was a huge improvement in the mid-range with no noticeable loss in the low-range. I wouldn't expect the Performer to be an improvement on anything but a 2bbl 318- maybe a reasonable one if you couldn't get a stock intake for a 360.

Really? My teener has always run very good with the Performer. Maybe I ought to try the LD4B I was going to sell. :burnout:

Also if the port match was unacceptable on a 360 I would not port the LD4B as it is a discontinued piece and kind of rare, instead try to get a RPM or airgap.

Have run the ld4b several times on 360 heads...it runs hard...add a 270/470 cam something around there, you will really be impressed how the combination works...done this to several stock engines

Yup. Nothing else changed it was a dog over 3800 compared to the stock intake. Somebody'd put a smaller than stock cam in it and I couldn't ever be bothered to change it.
