Screw the gifts, whats for Christmas Breakfast??

I am a pretty good cook, but my specialty is baking. I have been working on perfecting my scones. Yesterday I made some apricot scones with an apricot reduction glaze. I love dried apricots. I eat them like candy. The scones have finally chopped up dried apricots that I reconstituted in, a mixture of water and a little bit of rum. The glaze has some very finally chopped up dried apricots in it. They were very, very good. Next, I am going to work on salted caramel scones.

Eggs, bacon, tortillas and coffee with one(ok…two)of my Christmas presents as a treat after.

No pic, but made some breakfast hash (egg/taco meat/hashbrowns) with a side of bacon (naturally!), mimosas, and coffee with Irish Cream afterwards.
Just throwing the glazed ham into the oven as we speak. Will be what the wife calls "Lupper" that we can carve and nibble at all afternoon and evening until we fall asleep in front of the TV.

My girlfriend made a breakfast casserole before she went on vacation with family ( had to stay and work), delish! Eggs, broccoli, spinach, onions, TONS of cheese, bacon and i put some hot sauce on it. And some WAWA holiday blend coffee with a shot (or 2) of this!
Fed the bird we have and our dog some eggs as well.

Same thing for the last 30 years...every day.

Large flake oatmeal with blueberries and kieffer
Cottage cheese with 11 almonds
An apple.

Best meal of the day IMO.

Some crispy hash browns, sausage, and a couple of eggs with orange sauce on them. Yum! Accompanied by Mexican coffee with a bit of adult flavoring added.

I would have made my usual egg but was not in the mood, wife was busy cooking green beans and peas from out garden ( freezer), hash brown casserole, deviled eggs, some kinds of fruity sweet salad, 2 pumkin pies,,,,,to take, with Santa Claus stuff, to the "kid' (32) and his wife and two rug rats. He did tri tip on the grill. I actually have seen his wife fill a glass with water a time or two!
