I would never run Rhoades On a cam that small. Why are you considering them? To help with vacuum? That cam will have good vacuum. To help with idle quality? That cam will have good idle quality. To help with bottom end torque? That cam will have good bottom end torque.
If you want it to idle like a stock 318, then run the Rhoades lifters. You may even have trouble running on pump gas using Rhoads lifters on a cam that small depending on what your static compression is. Rhoads lifters work GREAT when used in their environment. I cannot agree more with Karl that they do. But I would never run them on a cam that has less than 230* duration @ .050. They are out of their element there, IMO.
All that said, if you run the W2 or the RHS heads, you will be seriously under cammed, IMO, especially if you use the Rhoades lifters. That camshaft is just about right on top of the stock 340 cam, except it is ground on a 108* lobe separation. Using the Rhoads lifters on it and it will be about the same as the 340 piece. Possibly even smaller in comparison. Run what you want, but I think that combination is a mistake. Over and out.
Of course all this I simply my opinion.
