Loose nut behind the wheel
As others have said, lots of plugs, my one pet peeve in my previous garages was a lack of outlets. I hate having extension cords draped everywhere. When I built my present garage I was determined that I would almost never need an extension cord for anything. I have an outlet at the 4 foot level every 4 feet along three walls, and I also added a second level at about 7 feet, about every 8 feet. In total there are 27 or 28 110V outlets in my 24x30 garage.
I also wired in a pair of 220V outlets, one is currently used for my compressor, the other one I added for a 220V welder if I was to buy one, or I can use it for a small heater if needed.
