I have a 1968 slant six in a Barracuda. I had to drain the coolant out to replace the thermostat. I replaced the coolant and then noticed my leak right on two of the front oil pan bolts right below the timing chain. If anyone can help it is appreciated. Thanks.

If you reach under the water pump there is usually a hole under there for coolant weepage if it's the pump shaft seal.
I usually just reach under there and touch that hole and if my fingertip comes out wet, then it's a bad water pump seal and the pump needs replaced.

Of course a cooling system pressure test will usually point it out also.

If there was no leak before and all you did was change the thermostat then that is where the leak is coming from put a new gasket and check the upper hose if the clamps are tight.
