Someone Dumped a Puppy on Our Vacant (fenced) Lot

-
We found a dog we thought was a puppy. Vet looked it over and says not a puppy. From a short distance it clearly looked puppy from size. So small was 34oz. After she picked up a quite a few oz.
Crazy she wast judged to be 2 or 3 years old and still sub 3 pounds. Was already fixed. And was unsure of shots, so gave minimal shots. She lived a very, very long good life. We later found out, someone few streets over moved and left the Mini Yorkie behind. Hard to understand how you can't take proper care of something so fragile and must have been expensive. Those dogs go for big bucks.
It eat a small bag of food forever.
Never barked. Never went in my home. Never a problem. Just wanted a friend to sit with. And looked incredibly sad when ya left. One day just walked up and sat down next to my wife's feet while we were outside my home. She sure was rough looking and hungry.
Our cat was a giant next to her.
The cat snubbed the dog first few days. Then we're best buddies! The much larger cat taking care of the dog. Give the cat milk, cat would sit and watch / wait till (peanut) had her fill.

Update: Puppy now has been named. Chosen based on the brownish shade of her fur, this is a Spanish word for buckskin/chamois/suede leather: "Gamusa".

Such a cute face. I couldn't have gotten rid of her.
My rescue Whipador(Whippet/Labrador mix) was found lost in Tallahassee. We got her from Humane Society Sumter County Fl , County Road 529A, Lake Panasoffkee Fl, a very well run shelter(not all are so nice). I highly recommend this shelter.
Dogs are always happier with a friend to live with, 1st dog helps train the newcomer, & they keep each other company. Its a win win.
