Hi y’all, I’m totally wiring my 70 duster and I’m wiring it with a painless wiring harness. It’s not been to bad so far but I really hate wiring. I have an assembly manual so I can check wiring diagrams because I did leave most of the original plugs on the car, like wiper motor, radio heater, stuff like that. I also left the wiring on the steering column. That is where I’m stuck at. As y’all may know there are two plugs coming out of the steering column, one is for the ignition switch and the other is for all the brake lights and turn signals and flashers. I’ve got the ignition wires ohm out. The red is the power coming in to the ignition and I get power coming out of all the wires from the ignition, but I don’t seem to be getting anything coming out of the other plug, the brakes and turn signal plug. I tried omhing the main red wire coming in and working the turn signal switch but I’m not getting anything. Is there another power source that comes in on the signal switch side that I’m missing in the diagram. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
