Stop in for a cup of coffee

I like my craftsman, but its also close to 15 years old.. probably built different back then.

I cant justify one of those super expensive boxes, just to slap stickers all over. LOL
Craftsman. At one time they were built here in Waterloo. (Waterloo Industries)

So I am clearly late to the party but I have spent 7 hours moving a rail car approx 200'ft in sub zero weather wind so strong visibility was nil. The city even pulled the plows off the streets today due to the wind and drifting. They dropped the gates on the highway as well. Just a great day in Fargo!
With regard to the electric car question, like my Minnesota brethren previous reply. I have never seen one up here nor do I know anyone with one up here. Not saying there isn't one I just have never seen one here.
The pix attached is my view from a large loader on a rail spur trying to clear the track. The building is maybe 40 ft tall for prospective. Drifts were huge. The other is just my garage. Can't wait to head south!

Looks like Siberia!

Sadly my Box's get moved with slings and cranes, to Dd point just depends on how they get used! Grab a craftsman box sling it and fly it with a crane a couple of stories and the drawers will never open again! Plus boxs go an easy 20 mph faster with the go fast stickers!

I had a Mac box get away from me off the back of the lift gate. It slid off landed on it's spring loaded casters and down the street it went. That was from 4 feet up. I had to hustle to get in front of it to stop it from rolling down the hill. I hope the neighbors didn't see me. LOL

Too funny,
several of my guys rock the Mac Box's. They are bullet proof.

Dam olds intrigue. Water pump, tensionre pulley and a new belt. Filled with fresh coolant and a road test. Seemed all good.
Cutomer came back, its overheating.
Bet t-stat is cooked.
It has great heat and at idle and at 3000 prm’s its fine. But work it any amount and guage starts to climb. Thermostat is on lower rad hose. Im stumped.

A guy I work with has that bottom box. I think it is similar to mine, just bigger. They do have some with oddball drawer latches that just looked like something to break. When going cheap keep it simple. If you need gizmos, pay for a high end box with a high end warranty. lol
Husky has a 41 inch for 299.99. I may go with it because the locking bars internally did look a lot stronger.

Head gasket seeping?
Possibilities,head gasket seeping
T-stat hanging up(lower rad hose type)
Coolant slushing up (fresh 50/50)
New pump cavitating or sucking air. Belt slipping.

But,and i mean But if its getting air into system typically heater core airlocks. It has great heat.

Not sensor, its getting really hot.
Fans come on so its not the cluster. They get goofy too.

Speaking of Coolant and I dont mean to change the subject. I've stumped with an odd thing. So last week when that frickin cold weather came through I had my daughters car parked outside the garage. I didnt even try to start it until today when I moved it to blow snow. When I got back to where the car was parked there it was......... a bright green frozen mound of ice, right under where the engine was. I started thinking oh ****..... So I popped the cap and check the coolant. WTH the coolant is not even green and its full. Figured I'd leave the car run and warm up and drive it for the day. The temp was fine the entire time, I cant for the life of me figure out where this green coolant came from, thoughts???

Well some more bad news. I am starting to sound like Chris. No offense intended..My little sister is in the hospital, does not look like she will make it....52!!!!
An infection, liver and kidney shut down, blood clotted, stroke, she is screwed...looks likes she is 80 yeas old. So damn sad.....

It came in for a leaking water pump, ran fine other than the leak.

Is it the right pump? I think on that GM it can be either a clock wise pump or a counter clockwise pump, they look the same...Just spit ballin it..
