Good morning fellas im stuck at work wishing I could get some work done on my heads today. Im excited I finally started porting them (first attempt) so far they are looking nice I cant wait to get more done. I gotta stop at lowes or Walmart and get some more stones and sanding rolls one day.

That's always fun. Just don't go too far. I used a cracked magnum head as a guinea pig. The ones I had done professionally didn't look anything like the ports I did. LOL

No Idea why. I can actually duplicate it, actually have the springs.. Thing just slams full advance. Where does the vac advance get the vac from if it is supercharged?
But it would slam even faster with just two light springs!
Good question.. Might still be ported vac? Below throttel might still be lower than atmosphere? And when it does switch over probably don't want the vac advance. Never set up a supercharger. Did have the doors blown off my car by one the first time at the track! Impressive. LOL

Didn’t know I taught you anything! Cool
Good morning, found some MoPar treasure yesterday.....My dad always told me when I go to a swap meet or antique shop that I should always look through the “junk” or boring stuff like jewelry or non car related stuff in the display cases or boxes....well today paid off big time....look at this rare gem....unbelievable!!! The lady at the shop said it was just a “cute little bug with a helmet”........BTW....it’s a 1968 Dodge Scat Pack tie clasp/clip...

Port at the top of the port... Leave some at the floor... You want the floor 'raised' for better flow...

Sometimes you can make it worse if you take off where it doesn't need it...

If moving a bunch of material, your gasket will not line up, nor the intake manifold port so be aware. Can start a snowball effect...
Thanks for the heads up. Im not going to be removing alot of metal especially on the intake side.

Good morning, coffee's good. A little sore from going back to work but it was time. After tonight don't have to work till Thursday.

Funny how neither me, nor the guys at the shop, noticed the reason the hose came off the brake booster, was because the Fury's engine was sitting all cattywompus because the motor mounts were busted.

Off to check out the farmer's market again, sunny and 55 right now.

Good morning all. I doubt our local snow fields grew much last night :( temp just barely dropped into the 40s with almost 1/4" of rain. Radar at Winternationals looks very wet for the time being. The track prep gang will be busy today.
