Stop in for a cup of coffee

I heard this story on Wait Wait Don't Tell Me ... its Squirrel!
Grey squirrel is on the menu, as diners turn to the wild meat to help boost the reds
Old idea new again. View attachment 1715287664

The other other white meat. View attachment 1715287665
“It's tasty, it's not as gamey as rabbit, it's nice white meat. It's good to cook down slowly and make stews from and ragus for lasagne."

A true conservationist.
“I also enjoy shooting, I shoot quite a lot of greys so it make sense to put it on the menu - if we shoot them we should cook with them.”

When I blast a squirrel with the 22.250, there's barely enough left for the ants to find, let alone cook

Grey squirrel is really good battered and fried like chicken...

I might have that same fan in box. Never thought about using it as coaster or hot plate.

Well, day is done. Buddy’s truck is killing battery in the cold,.24 amp draw after running is a tad high. But it goes away after 30 mins.
Pulled dome light fuse and is .11.
So now im thinking alternator is pulling battery down when it freezed.

So I left that 383 soaking in atf for a week and the rust is nearly gone. Now I just gotta find a crank pulley bolt so I can run it up to try to turn it over

True, guess they knew it wasn’t going down. Really tempted to get that NHRA tv subscription so I can at least watch when I have time. The sportsman series would be cool to be able to watch too.
