I always suspected my paint did not bond to the primer very well. It took 2 years, but saw this today. Should have done sealer...Will get some touch up on it later to hopefully keep it from getting worse. Hope to get a few years out of this paint job before I have to re paint.

Going to be another warm day, may take the Duster out for a shake down cruise after church. Probably be a short cruise with fuel @ $4.19 a gallon.

Ahh the joys of living on the left coast!!

I could see my breath last night while viewing the USAC Sprints . Man, them guys tore up a lot of iron last night. After the third red flag in the Main I fleed the scene. That flag was for the new Olympic event, "Synchronized Sprint Car Tumbling". Gotta love that open wheel racing.

:wtf: A chance of thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow? That's really odd for this time of year in this neighborhood. I think maybe my friend brought that s%&t back on the plane from Tennessee when he returned yesterday

So I'm gonna do an impromptu poll. Dropped my block off at the machine shop, they tore it down and discovered 1 crank journal was a little rough requiring grinding. How long should it take to regrind the crank and assemble a block? Just doing rings and bearings on a 400 mopar. Thanks for any reply.

no more than week. It's a two day job at best. .

Good morning c\_/ We did go to the McCruise-in yesterday after all. Wife washed pollen collection off the car while I made a run to liquor store. I passed 2 shinned up classics on the roads and thought, "I wanna drive mine too". So, we washed the windows, vacuumed, and off we went. The place was packed! Seems everyone was itching to get them out on such a nice day/evening. Pumped 20 dollars worth of real gas at 3.19 per gal. on the way home. It's back under the shed until who knows when.

Curious... I know Dart and B'cuda panels are different but what makes 67 different from 68/9? Size of ashtrays maybe? Longer elbow pads to delete those ashtrays is another of my unfinished projects.
Those rear quarters for the convertibles were a little different year to year with look and shape. Each 67-69 had three screw holes along the top edge of the panel. Seems the middle one usually cracked when over tightened.

Building a Burn Barrel for burning all those Docs I have piled up in my Office....Pics and details to come.....

So, got a trunk lid,its not great.
