Im on the **** list.
My wife and i are both smokers,i just kicked the cigarettes outside.
She’s pissed. A heavy smoker. Partially why i did it.
And i just discovered she gets up in the middle of the night for a cigarette..
Her words- im smoking inside at night,because i dont want to go outside at 3 am.

I'm beginning to think there may be some validity to the prediction of t-storms here this evening. That's the second time we've had a 60 second burst of some bigass rain drops. 
I tried to assemble a cart for the back garage and the bastards shorted me 24 nuts bolts and washers....
It's too late to go to the store to get them tonight, so I will have to run for them sometime this week....

Stay away from member bigboy68, it's Bob Mills aka Superdart426 & Superdart340 who is a known flipper and has been banned from FABO in the past...
That's the guy that took a slant 6 from Hoppy with the promise to pay him later and never did...
He will try to talk you down on your parts for sale with a sob story of some sort, just to turn around and flip them at inflated prices on here and ebay....
I had a deal with him on a set of Commando valve covers and he backed out after I paid for them with the excuse that "his son sold them on him"... I would bet someone offered him more money than he agreed on for me and he sold them to him after our deal was already closed and I had sent payment on Paypal... He did refund my money, but after that, I don't trust him and will never deal with him again... I later learned from a mutual friend that his son does not even live with him...
Repeat: DO NOT DEAL WITH bigboy68....

I’m a smoker, but nobody else in the house is. I never smoke indoors, outside or in the attached garage only...no matter the weather.
Perhaps you need a fan vented to outside as a compromise for the middle of the nite smoke for her. Either that, or a small enclosed porch of some sort.
Just a suggestion.
I haven't been sick much in my lifetime so far. I am just paying some bills and wrote a check to the hospital for my heart checks. $3830.34. Good thing insurance pays most of that. We still have to pay deductible but it will be paid after this check. All these are "so far" When I go to Mayo it will be twice as much for the tests minus the surgery....but worth it.

It’s just a bit of a rude wake up call when you realize how expensive it can be to be sick.

Yep, adds up quick. With all the heart/blood pressure stuff I've had going on we racked up some bills. Good thing they do payment plans. Think my BP went nutz when I saw the bill for the monitor I had on for a month. $7500 - turns out they hadn't run it through the insurance correctly. Once they sorted it out, I owed $500 for that...
Agreed. I didn't have anything to compare it to. Other than a Dr. visit or a ER visit for a cut finger I hqaven't had anything done except having my wisdom teeth out when I was 20.Paying for good health is worth every penny...without it, the money is pointless.

Also the other day when I was asking about collector car insurance costs, I get a yearly refund because we have our house insurance with the same company. It pretty much pays for my collector car insurance. Bonus!!!!

Yeah, my bill for the afib ER visit totaled around $1200 out of pocket. Then the blood thinner they put me on costs around $450 per month out of pocket on top of it.
I have a benefits card from Work that covers ups to $6k out of pocket...but between all this and my daughters braces, it is going to be an expensive year.

Feel fortunate that you and I can afford great health care. Mayo...doesn't get much better.
You should feel really confident walking in the front door and with everything they tell you.
They've already looked at your medical file and know your case.
If they couldn't help they would of told you so before your got an appointment.
Just roll with it and get er done!!

I have never gone into that place and never will. To me N&P means “Nonsense & Pointless”.
It’s just a place for argument, not debate.
Debate means having an open mind and being willing to change your position based on the discussion. Argument means stating your opinion over and over again forcefully without any chance of changing your position...and belittling anyone who doesn’t agree with you.
I have no time or energy for arguments.
