Good morning Mike, how goes it on the hill?
Going good, looks like I will get to spend time with my little brother, I am driving up to Raven Den Springs this morning to pick him up and bring him to the hill for a couple days, just two of us left out of four boys so if he wants to spend time with me I do all I can to take time to do it

Here he is 24 years ago, we worked very hard side by side from the age of 7 to 15, I took him to this music Fest and he stole my sun glasses

1 degree below freezing. For the last week in may, that kinda sucks.
Dart owner should be by today. Hope he’s happy with the job.
Other than a visit to get one tailpipe re-worked i think he will be good to go.
Wife says she saw him driving it around yesterday. I had to disagree, as its in the back of my quonset,covered and impossible to get out without me moving other stuff.

Have one of those that sits above my dresser. This was Dads flag that he proudly flew outside his place, that I just put out before grabbing my first cup of coffee.

Had a high speed chase here this morning. Took the pup out and there were 2 squirrels in the garden. The bird feeder is at one end and they drop a lot of good sunflower seeds. With less than 2 feet of chicken wire, they get in easy enough, but slightly more difficult getting out. So, they see Holley and panic. So they are rounding the fence inside, her outside just as fast as they can go. One managed to get out, she stuck with the other. It finally ran up the pole for the hops. She stood still for a second and I grabbed her collar and brought her in. That was fun...lol

. Good Morning. A blessed Memorial Day to all! My former co-worker contacted me about 4pm yesterday and said the 2nd day of the Spring Nationals was called because of rain in Santa Maria. There were 100ish race cars here last night

The western horizon got clouded up last night, but with the track lights on I never could tell if it covered us too. Good Late Model racing last night. All the racing was good, even the Modifieds. They managed to keep it from becoming the usual Destruction Derby I'm so used to seeing with Mods . I didn't see any California cars in the field, a little surprising, usually a few at least. Must have been something good going on closer to home.

I have been looking for the last half hour for a photo of my Dad with his Navy shadow box in front of his memory brick at the local Vets walk. I lost it when my hard drive went south. I hope Facebook remembers it.
