Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning everyone, Valentine weekend is a busy one when you work in a restaurant. It's all parties of 2 so it keeps you hopping. Kinda hoping a few customers tonight decide they've already "done" Valentine's and don't show up. Normally we are closed on Sundays. If I could have one wish, it would be that people would "round up" a little. If you go on and on about how it was the best service of your life, instead of tipping say $36, just make it $40.

Yep.. I'm one of those cheap asses! But i do round up $2.81 to a whole $3.00...

Ok, just got back from the swap meet. Didn't find much that I wanted, but got to meet TMM and bumped into a couple other members, Chuck and Dave.

It was good seeing and talking to everyone... :glasses7:
 
Man, it's starting to snow pretty good here, I hope TMM doesn't have any problems driving back home. He's probably driving into it, they're predicting 1-3" for us...

Drive carefully Mike and check in when you get home. Hope you stay safe...
 
Oh, TMM's tardiness/absence here now is excused as he was at a swap meet here in Chicago burbs... :evil3:

Don't send him to Principle Joey for a detention... :twisted:

I finally got my home office in order and spent the day catching up on bills and banking that I have ignored for most of the week. Dull way to spend a Sunday...but necessary.

Anyone else lurking out there tonight?

I'm here Karl. Nice to meet you. It was fun even for a short time. We made it home. A few cars in the ditch around Dubuque but we made it in one piece. I bought a clutch fan and a switch plate for my office. We come over just to get away and recharge our Mopar batteries.
And of course it doesn't hurt a bit to catch up with friends.
