I worked hard the first half of my life so I could retire early. "we" were doing well until she decided to run off with a coworker. Took all the money with her. I wanted to keep the property so in a way I have had to pay twice for it. I think if you wanna leave you have to leave everything in it's place.

I loved nights three 12 hour shifts on three days off three days. It was awesome!
And it was Shore duty in Hawaii also. Only down side if a holiday fell you worked it.

I agree with ya Tike. That's not right. She'll get her karma someday!!

When I worked nights busy was how I liked it. I did it for 10 years. I never really knew how physically tired I was working nights until I went to days.

ha, I'm almost done working a 12 hr night shift, the only thing I like about it is my boss leaves when I'm showing up for shift, lol

Well I was an LEO. I'd go home and then a couple hours later the daughter would wake me up and I'd get her on the school bus.
Usually at least once a week I'd have court sometime during the day.
Nap before I went in and that was my day, or night.
I didn't like the schedule, but at the time it was what I needed to do.

Im running as the assistant engineer instead of the chief engineer. Hense I work nights. Not a bad gig I like it. They leave me alone and I get my work done. No drama.

the no drama part I can agree with and I can do what I need to do on nights but going to court after a night shift like ZMAN I would be tough. Zombies are not a good witness

Trying to organize my next 3 days. Nissan needs winter tires installed. Sons truck needs exhaust repaired and front end checked out for ordering parts.
I want to get fargo in but it isnt looking good. My new glasses are ready,2-1/2 hour round trip.

Fixed it!:poke::rofl:
Ya I know your joking, but just to be clear none of my arrest ever resulted in an allegation of brutality.
I worked in a minority community most of my career and was know as a fair LEO, treating all with the same respect I'd expect.
In 30+ years I dealt with three generations of families, got to know people well.
:thumbsup:

Only reason i dont talk to law enforcement here is they would want me to fix their junk. I didnt like servicing the cruisers, takes a long time and they ignore issues until they have a failure. And 3 months to pay.
