Stop in for a cup of coffee

nothing like getting waken up to have to go break up a cat fight.

I have two males in the garage and one is friendly enough but the other one is moody and sometimes he plays nice and sometimes he is the mood to rip the place apart.

Ooooh, cat fight!!!!

"the other night I was having problems too....the tip was getting red hot and it wasn't feeding consistent.

I changed the tip and that helped greatly but its strange because to look at the old tip, didn't look like anything was wrong but yet it wasn't working."

That's what he said.... :D

Do you guys recognize this???

It's a model in 3D of an A-body 1" diameter torsion bar...

This one has one of the drawing planes visible (by making the plane visible, I can use it to line up the other components to when I bring it into an assembly):

Here it is without the plane visible:

I made a model of the Miller Tool torsion bar removal tool that they no longer have available. I made a few measurement changes so it isn't an exact copy (copyrights...), but will still work the same if someone can make it...

I'm going to animate the tool going around the bar for my video for my class project...

Hello all... Kegan, Mike, Mike, Ray, and anyone else that I missed or may be lurking...

That is really cool Karl! Do they have a carbon fiber 3d printer? Just curious. That would make some cool stuff.

Yes, we're supposed to get 15 -25 MPH gusts today, then gusts up to 40 MPH overnight/tomorrow...

Here's the forecast:

****************************************

Today - More clouds than sun. High 42 °F (5.6 °C). Winds SE at 15 to 25 mph (24.1 to 40.2 kph).
Tonight - Mostly cloudy and windy. Low 36 °F (2.2 °C). Winds SSE at 20 to 30 mph (32.2 to 48.3 kph). Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.

******************************************

I burned some cardboard yesterday in my fire pit, because they were predicting winds for today and tomorrow. The porch was getting too full and you couldn't walk in there any more.... :banghead:

So I burned most of it, then the boys put more in there last night while they were cleaning. I'm not upset about more cardboard in the porch as they are cleaning. I'm not sure if I want to burn it today before the winds pick up, or just wait for more to pile up... :-k

Of course you always have to save a few boxes for putting parts in and if you have to ship any once in a while.... :banghead:

speaking of which - I got my bearings and gaskets yesterday from Summit - the cam is coming directly from CompCams, should have that tomorrow.. calling the machine shop later today and expect I'll be bringing him the parts Saturday morning..
