Stop in for a cup of coffee

Well time to hit it I have to spread some lime on the hops field then to the car! Have a good one all!

that's awesome! and too weird too - in high school my best friend and I went to a Halloween kegger as ZZTop - man, that brings back some nutty f-ing memories...
We wore fake ZZ-top beards and shaving creamed the menu at the McDonalds drive-thru when we were in high school....

The people behind us couldn't read the menu.... :D

It took us a few minutes to decide to order one coke while our friends took care of the menu... :toothy1:

I use pvc pipe. Works well for trim pieces, headliner bows, etc.

You can also use Sonotube from hardware suppliers. Heavy cardboard tubing used for concrete piers. I believe they offer it as small as 6in dia. up to probably 14 in. dia.

Check this out guys & gals!!! My 3D CAD project is coming along better than I planned. Here's a couple screen shots of it. Zoom in to check on it. I modeled the Miller Tool torsion bar removal tool that is listed in the service manual, which is no longer available and a 1.00" A-body torsion bar.

Here's a view of it all:

Here's a closer view of it, notice how there is a gap between the top and bottom piece because it's clamped to the outside of the torsion bar. That is because the interference with the bar keeps them from mating. This is part of how you constrain the parts as you assemble them.

Here's more of an end view showing the gap between the top and bottom piece. Notice how I also have the weld on the top piece, that was another step to combine them as a weld. They didn't teach us this, I had to go through the tutorials to learn this. I hope it's worth some bonus points from the instructor...

Nice Karl !! Gets an A+ in my book !

Thanks Mitch.

It's unbelievable how close to real life this program works. You can simulate alot of real life situations and check for interferences before cutting any parts or tooling to make them...

The presentation has so many lighting options, you need to be a hollywood producer to plan them. We can use one light, or up to four (one from each side), then dim and brighten them to create shadows on different planes...

I just use one or two lights and keep it simple. I'm trying to learn how to design parts, not how to work a light show...

The next step is to make a drawing for each single part, and then drawings for the sub assemblies, then the finished assembly with a bill of materials...

I actually don't have that tool. So you should produce some, and sell me one :D

YES IT DOES, BACK TO THE COUCH IN THE AM DRINKING COFFEE AGAIN. tO BAD IT WAS DELIFERED AT 5 PM TOOK IT EASY TODAY LICKING THE WOUNDS AND OTHER ISSUES FROM LAST NIGHT ON THE pop, DID GET THE BUISNESS TAX MESS DROPPED OFF TO THE ACCOUNTANT AND STARTED GETTING THE SPRING ORDERS ORGANIZED.
Just did the caps lock for nostalgia! LOL

Just wanted to make sure trans was shifting. Got on it a little. Need more tuning and timing I think

Its moving! Got another dell latitude almost the same as the old one which has the same parts mostly. Reconditioned for 150! Works like a champ. Just learned a lesson to save all my pics to the cloud from now on. Trans is in, seems fine on the jack stands. Need the exhaust on (think I suffered some hearing loss last night) and some other things then to Deans lift to do the track loc. Hey you coming over on lift day here and spending the night? Looks like mid April so far and OMR is brining Rameth also.
