Stop in for a cup of coffee

Outstanding. I love maiden voyages, even if they're just around the hood...

On a low note, I think I have to pull the cam out and check some things. Still not getting AS MUCH oil on the left bank as the right bank. I'm not comfortable with it. I talked to both Mike at MRL and Jim/IQ52 about some options available to me

Bummer... But it's more fun time playing with her innards....

NO! That sucks.

Oh Well. I know it's gettin a little oil there, and I wanted to see the trans shift So I took a chance. Smokes the tires pretty good. I figured I trip , before tear down. Least I dont have to pull the engine or heads or intake.

Evening all. I see things are in a flux as usual with our cars. That's the nature of the hobby I guess. All packed up for the cruise starting Saturday. Shirts are all ready for the post office in the morning. I hadn't noticed a mis spell on two members sorry.

awesome! Karl, even though I don't really need it right now - put me in for one of those torsion bar removal tools if you go forward and make 'em - that's one I can see having.
Check this out guys & gals!!! My 3D CAD project is coming along better than I planned. Here's a couple screen shots of it. Zoom in to check on it. I modeled the Miller Tool torsion bar removal tool that is listed in the service manual, which is no longer available and a 1.00" A-body torsion bar.

Here's a view of it all:

Here's a closer view of it, notice how there is a gap between the top and bottom piece because it's clamped to the outside of the torsion bar. That is because the interference with the bar keeps them from mating. This is part of how you constrain the parts as you assemble them.

Here's more of an end view showing the gap between the top and bottom piece. Notice how I also have the weld on the top piece, that was another step to combine them as a weld. They didn't teach us this, I had to go through the tutorials to learn this. I hope it's worth some bonus points from the instructor...
