I flipped plenty of cars, I just always thought Mopars were special and put way too much money into them. And I sold them to someone who loved them as much as I did. I was not doing this for a living.....

I've sold a few, but i had to be offered stupid-high profit. Found a 73 Challenger a couple years ago. Right here in town. Picked it up for 2500 bucks. Complete car, been sitting 10 years or more. Guy offered me 5k two weeks later. I turned him down. He up'd it to 6k.. i loaded his trailer...

Always willing to help! I may not know **** about cars, but i do know a little about bourbon! Put Woodford Reserve on your to-do list. A little pricey but delicious. .

I saw your B1 blue 73 Challenger. I had a 340 rally car back in the day. Very few B1's made. Even fewer with black top and strobe stripes.

I had a light blue (maybe B1, i never learned the colors) 72 340 Challenger auto w/3.55's in high school. Loved that car. It was my 'personality' for years, a bit rough on the edges but lots of fun. Had it til i was about 25 and one of my dickhead buddies rolled it. Still have the 340 tho!

That sucks! At least you kept the engine. My old blue car surfaced for sale a few years back. I pondered buying it back but there wasn't a non rusty panel on it anywhere. I passed.

LOL! I wish I did still have it. Made only about $500 on that car. Back then it was a nice side business to the Auto Upholstery business. I used to grab convertibles preferentially since I could slap a new top on for about $150 out of pocket and double the value of the car.

I could paint a car for around $100 out of pocket and do the upholstery up like new and then a quick flip to double my money. I must have done about 50 cars that way.

If I had them all back now, I could sell them and retire.

I'm figuring the 340 will end up in my 69 with a 4 speed and 3.91's. That should be pretty fun.. and a few years down the road..

usually the same amount as a normal night's sleep which is like 5 or 6 hours
