Stop in for a cup of coffee

The tank is full of Varnish. And I lost all the gas over the year so it was dry inside. I aim to get some mineral Spirits as OMR suggested and just let it lay around soaking for awhile to cut it. I am really pleased how good of shape the car is underneath

Reminds me of when we used to throw alka seltza to the seagulls. Birds cannot fart so the energy has to go somewhere!

Cool! Mineral spirits works great. No rust in it? That is surprising.

Hey it was before pita in international waters on the back of the ship. Had to pass time somehow.

Tike - why not take it off via the brackets? then you will have better access to the inside of the bumper and you'll be able to use the weight of the bumper to push against the bumper bolt heads to keep them in place..

I was thinking of doing that.

I took a piece of flat stock with a 3/8 hole and welded the head of the bolt on it through the hole. Crude but worked! Could not get vice grips on it. If you need a welder I have a 110 you can borrow.

Mine sucked I have the shock absorbers so there is no room really. Took a few beers to figure that one out but no bumper was harmed.
