Stop in for a cup of coffee

But then you would have two leads that were a meter each... Which would be 2 meters... But you only get one meter.... with two meter leads... So do we get one meter, or two meters??? Does it really meter... I mean matter??? :violent1:

Dam metric system.... :banghead:

I'd walk a kilometer for a Camel. Just sounds wrong.

isn't getting older a blast!? I've been so damn lucky so far - only thing I take is aspirin once in a while.. anyway, weighed exactly the same this morning as last Sat.. 227.. guess it's better-n going up but... oh well.

I'm at 267.6... Not bad considering I didn't make it to the gym at all last week, and pigged out a little early in the week, and had late nachos last night before bed.... (this morning before bed...)... :violent1:

So only gaining .3 lb is not bad for doing nothing... :color:

Didn't think of that. Well I wouldn't want to complicate matters. Like the imperial system ...

We use both here... my wife drives 35 kms to work and gets 35 miles to the gallon. I go shopping and pick up a kilo of sugar and a half a pound of sliced ham... that's likely just us old farts.. the kids don't know a yard from a foot
anyone know how much a butt load is ?

Hey, on an unrelated note, does anyone have a hinge for the fron ventilation window on a 1964 Dodge Polara?

Trying to help someone out here in Sweden.

I actually lived in Ottawa for a year when I was 14. Really liked it. Didn't do much grocery shopping at the time so I remember it as a mostly metric country. With signs in both English and French ...

That is so correct. Our system is whacked. But we know it. Metric system is very easy and logical, just conversion throws everybody off..

I'd hate to be using it as an engineer with all the conversion factors you need to add everywhere. If you're buying butter or building material - it really makes no difference.

I'm used to metric, the auto industry uses it all the time...

I was just using it for the comical value...

Yes, I only learned recently that even the auto industry switched to metric long ago. But I guess it only makes sense with the amount of international interchange that goes on.

Good day all!

Way past coffee time here:banghead:. Had a mini car show at church this morning. Took the Monaco out as she is closest to show worthy. Back home, bled Chargers brakes, took her for a run. /6's have got power hey! First descent drive I could take with the old girl...have brakes now!:D

Need to double check timing and adjust Carter carb some more, but overall very pleased with results.
