Got door in shop, hacked a chunk out of my way and got the channel i need. Will plug weld it, should work just fine. Old Door is pretty much trashed anyway so no guilt there. Will take the good bits off and throw it back in the picking pile.

Ya, well the glass run channel clips almost work. I guess if you leave the windows up they will be fine... and im going to be selling this stuff, guess i will throw in a tube of urethane with every order. Have to wait for paint to dry before i can install glass, the metal track was rusty, needed to clean it up and a shot of rust paint to help it slide. And a big schmere of lubriplate.

Well the test results are back. Lets just say I can dine in, or travel wherever and not be concerned.
Cheryl and I were lucky compared to others.

Trying to figure a way to attach them to the new panels ( after I clean them ). They were attached with rivets. Youse guys got any idears ? Maybe I can make slots in the new panels and attach them that way. Push em in and slide over ????

Well Ok, since I got no assistance from you guys. I did it my way. Drilled holes, just slightly smaller than the rivet heads, then pushed em through to the back and tooled/pushed around the heads to be sure they are secure...Thanks a lot guys....:rolleyes:
